Byars is a family-owned trade supplier, based in South Geelong since 1985. Hospitality is our heartland — cafés, restaurants, takeaways and function venues across the region order from us every week. But the same warehouse, fleet and account keep a much wider base stocked too: schools, aged care and childcare centres, contract cleaners, caravan and holiday parks, industrial and construction sites, event caterers and retailers. Three ranges — hospitality and foodservice supplies, packaging and disposables, and cleaning, chemicals and hygiene — on one account, one delivery, one local team.

Our story
Our story
Byars has supplied south-west and central Victoria since 1985. What began as a packaging and hospitality supplier has grown, range by range, into a single source for the consumables, equipment and hygiene products that local businesses order week in, week out.
The integration of Barwon Cleaning Supplies added real depth to our cleaning, chemical and janitorial range — which is why a contract cleaner, a school or a childcare facility can now order professional cleaning systems from the same account a café uses to order coffee cups.
Today Byars is still family-owned and run from South Geelong, with its own warehouse, its own delivery fleet and a team of 25+, delivering on a set run from Warrnambool to Ballarat to Melbourne’s west and the full coast down the Great Ocean Road.
