About this range

What we carry in this range

Food Packaging is part of our Disposable Packaging range. Browse the product groups, or ask us and we will point you at the right line for your site.

The container is the product for a takeaway customer. If it leaks, sags or steams the food into mush on the drive home, that's your review, not the container's.

What we carry

Sugarcane bowls, plates, clamshells and trays. Paper bowls, plates, cups, clamshells, lunch boxes and trays. Foil containers. Pizza boxes and sandwich containers. Portion cups. Plastic, PLA, PET and tamper-evident containers.

Match the container to the food

Hot and oily food needs a container that won't go soft — sugarcane (bagasse) and coated board both handle it. Fried food needs to breathe or it steams itself; a vented lid or a board container beats a sealed plastic one every time. Cold and fresh food sells better in clear PET where the customer can see it. Anything going in an oven needs foil.

Tamper-evident for delivery

If you're on a delivery platform, tamper-evident containers are increasingly expected and in some cases required. They're worth specifying properly rather than taping a lid.

Compostable, if it's substantiated

We stock certified compostable containers to AS4736 (commercial) and AS5810 (home). We'll only badge a product as certified if the manufacturer's documentation supports it — a vague "eco" claim helps nobody.

Questions for food packaging

Open full FAQ
Which takeaway container is best for hot food?

Sugarcane (bagasse) and coated board both hold up to heat and oil without going soft. Avoid a sealed container for anything fried — it steams itself. A vented lid or a board container will get the food home in better shape.

What's the best container for fried food?

Something that breathes. Sealed plastic traps steam and turns crisp food soft on the drive home. Board containers or vented lids are the right answer.

Do you stock tamper-evident containers for delivery platforms?

Yes. If you're on a delivery platform, tamper-evident containers are increasingly expected and in some cases required. Better to specify one properly than to tape a lid.
