About this range
What we carry in this range
Cutlery is part of our Tabletop range. Browse the product groups, or ask us and we will point you at the right line for your site.
Cutlery is the piece of tableware your customer holds for the entire meal. It's also the piece that goes through the dishwasher more times than anything else you own.
What we carry
Stainless cutlery sets and individual pieces. Servers. Steak knives. Cheese knives. Melamine.
Weight is a choice; steel grade is not
Cutlery weight and finish are design decisions and a chef or an owner will have a view. The steel grade isn't a preference — it determines whether your cutlery pits, stains or discolours after a year of commercial washing. It's worth understanding before you commit.
Steak knives are a separate decision
A steak knife needs to cut. If your menu has a steak on it, don't leave the knife to the general cutlery order.
Melamine has its place
Function catering, poolside, outdoor service, childcare and aged care settings — anywhere weight, breakage or safety is a consideration.
Handle it first
Cutlery is a hand-feel decision. Come into the showroom, or ask your rep to bring samples.
Questions for cutlery
Open full FAQWhat should I look for in commercial cutlery?
Steel grade, before weight or finish. Weight and finish are design preferences; steel grade determines whether your cutlery pits, stains or discolours after a year of commercial washing. Both matter, but only one of them is a specification.
Do I need separate steak knives?
If there's a steak on your menu, yes. A steak knife has to actually cut, and general table cutlery usually doesn't. Don't leave it to the main cutlery order.
When would I use melamine cutlery?
Function catering, poolside and outdoor service, childcare and aged care — anywhere weight, breakage or safety is a consideration.
